Frequent Buyer Programme is being withheld for the time being with effect from 1st October 2001. However, points earned upto 30th September 2001 can be redeemed. 
Some people call such schemes "Loyalty Points Scheme". Obviously they mean customer's loyalty to a shopping site or mall! We call it Frequent Buyer Programme. It is our loyalty towards our customers that has spurred us into starting this programme. This is a Programme under which you keep accumulating points with every purchase and at time of your choice, you redeem the points by exchanging them with items on the List of FBP Items.

1. Number of Points you earn.
For each purchase of Rs 100/- you earn 10 points that will be credited to your FBP account. Meaning thereby that with every order you get a minimum of 20 points credited, the minimum order value being Rs. 200/-. For orders of value Rs 5000/- or more, for each purchase of Rs 100/- you earn 5 points.

2. Rounding off of points
Parts of Rs 100 will be rounded off to the nearer round figure. The following table will make it clear:

3. "Welcome to the scheme" points
A Customer's first order, after the scheme is launched, will fetch the customer 20 "Welcome to The Scheme" points which will be credited to his account, in addition to the points that the Customer is eligible for the actual order. Thus, if the order is worth Rs 200, 40 points will be credited.

4. Accumulation of points
The Customer can accumulate the points as much as he wants. There is no upper limit to the number of points that one can accumulate.

5. Lapsing of points
The points will lapse on a six monthly basis. The dates for lapsing are the 1st July and 1st January every year. All points accumulated during the period 1st July 2001 to 31st December 2001 will lapse on 1st January 2003, i.e. benefits against these points must be ordered latest by 31st December 2002. Similarly, all points accumulated between 1st January 2002 and 30th June 2002 will lapse on 1st July 2003. The following table will make it clear:

6. Benefits
The points accumulated can be exchanged for any of the items available in the List of FBP Items.

7. Accounting
With every such exchange the exchanged points will be debited from the Customer's account. At any time a Customer can view his/her account. The Account will provide information on i) the date of becoming member of the Programme, i.e. the date of the first order after start of the Programme, ii) Number of Points in the Customer's account as on date, iii) Number of Points to lapse with dates of lapsing.

8. Eligibility to participate In KMTH FBP
The KMTH FBP is not open to Corporate Buyers and also to purchases made with reference to Franchisees.

10. Clubbing of Points of different customers
Points earned under this programme by a Customer cannot be clubbed with those of another. If a Customer changes his User ID he will be treated as a different user under the Programme. Hence it is imperative that a Customer keeps his User ID and Password securely and if lost gets it back from KMTH and keep using the same parameters so as to be eligible to reap the benefits of the FBP Programme.

11. Purchasing of Items from the On Line Shop against FBP Points
This is not permitted. You can only select items from the List of FBP Items and exchange them with the FBP Points.

12. Term of the Programme
Initially the term of the Programme is from 1st July 2001 to 31st December 2002, i.e. one can earn points up to that date and redeem them up to 31st December 2003, subject to the lapsing on 1st January 2004.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON KMTH FREQUENT BUYER PROGRAMME
1. How can I participate in the KMTH Frequent Buyer Programme?
One can participate by simply buying on the site. With your first order duly honoured by you, you become a participant in the Programme. You should not be a Corporate Customer and you should not be buying through a Franchisee.

2. How can I earn/accumulate Frequent Buyer Programme points?
For orders you place you earn 10 points for every Rs 100 spent by you. All these points are accumulated automatically and you do not have to keep your own count of the points earned.

3. How many points are earned for every order?
For the first order after the Programme is launched you get 20 points plus the points you are eligible for the size of the order at the rate of 10 points, for every Rs 100. Parts of Rs 100 will be rounded off to the nearer round figure, e.g. purchase worth Rs. 350 to 449 will give you 40 points whereas worth 450 to 549 will give you 50 points.

4. What is the use of the points earned in KMTH FBP?
There is a List of FBP items from which you can select the items against the points that you have earned.

5. What is the higher limit of points that can be earned at a time?
There is no higher limit. It depends upon the price of the item purchased.

There is no higher limit for accumulation of points.

7. Do the points earned last forever?
No. The points will lapse on a six monthly basis. 8. What is the method for exchanging the points earned with the benefits?

9. Can I use the FBP Points for purchasing items from the On Line Shop?
No. This is not permitted. You can only exchange the points with items in the List of FBP Items.

10. Can I club the points earned by me with those of another customer?
